Feb. 7, 1927 - Sep. 13, 2014

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever.” Psalms 23, verse 6 Our beloved Murry entered eternal life September 13, 2014. He was born February 7, 1927 in Caliente, Nevada but lived most of his life in Southern California. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After the war, he worked for the U.S. Postal service as his full-time job, but also worked concurrent full and part-time jobs to provide for his family. He was a self-taught man and could do anything he set his mind to do. He moved back to Nevada in 1989 and lived in Dayton, Stagecoach and lastly, in Carson City. He is pre-deceased by his first wife, Evelyn, his son Michael, and his grand-daughter, Melanie. He leaves behind his loving wife, Rebecca, daughter Cathy, grandson Jonathan, brother and sister-in-law Gene and Mary Daniels and many friends. Upon his request, there will be no services, but it would please him if you wished to offer a prayer of thanksgiving for his life and for the life of your own loved ones.
