Repurpose Project
This project is designed to repurpose the existing building to enhance and improve function and efficiency in both the public and staff areas of the library. Below are some things you’ll need to know as we move forward with this exciting project. Plans are available for viewing at the library or on the website. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
Special October Checkout
The library is offering a special checkout option in October. Borrow Churchill County Library materials (excluding new books, DVDs, and Books on CD) during the month of October and return them the week of March 2, 2015.
So, if you are a teacher wanting to supplement your classroom library, spend the winter learning the fine art of French cooking, or are interested in reading a biography about James Madison, Mark Twain, or Marie Antoinette, this option will allow plenty of time to learn that new skill or read a lengthy tome.
Choose your winter project and stop by the library today to check out accompanying resources.
Storytime
Library Storytime will relocate to the Churchill County Museum at 1050 S. Maine St., beginning Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. This is a great opportunity to listen to stories and do a craft with your children. It’s a fun time for everyone!
Relocation Timeline
The library will be closed from Oct. 30-Nov. 1 to relocate the library and to celebrate Nevada Day. Library services will resume on Nov. 3 at the Annex at 507 S. Maine St. Online services and resources are always available 24/7 via the website at www.churchillcountylibrary.org.
