June 5, 1938 - Oct. 2, 2014

On October 2, 2014, Thomas F. Bell, “T-Rap Coyote” passed away peacefully from a short-term illness in Reno, Nevada. He was born on June 5, 1938, in Michigan. He served in the military from approximately 1957 to 1965. He made his home in Nevada in 1965 where he met and married Jean Steward. They had one child, Lauri Bell. Also, he helped raise Jean’s two daughters, Cindy and Rhonda. In 1978, Tom joined the Order of E Clampus Vitus, Julia C. Bulette, Chapter 1864, Virginia City, Nevada. Tom could always be seen driving around Carson City in whatever FORD pickup truck he had at the time. He was quite a character and loved everyone. He always said to Lauri “Little girl, if I ever hit the lottery, I’m gonna buy a big farm so that we can open an animal rescue together.” He is survived by his wife Sony, son Michael, daughter Lauri, grandchildren Austin and Emilee and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time.
