Harriett Thomsen Lima

Harriett Thomsen Lima, long time resident of Fallon passed away on September 4, 2014. She was born in The Point, Oregon on August 26, 1916 to Carl and Jane Thomsen. Harriett attended schools in Winnemucca and Lovelock. She married Sterling Lima on December 19, 1936 and in 1937 they made their home in Fallon. Harriett was an artist, her many talents included, water colors, oils, she loved to carve and did sculptures, and she was a quilter. She is the last member of her family to pass, out of 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Lloyd (Bud) Lima; husband, Sterling. Harriett is survived by her daughters, Joan (Skip) Cann; Janet Lima and daughter-in-law Laurie Lima; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
