Two Fernley men were arrested Sunday evening on unrelated child abuse charges.
Kyle Matthews, 24, arrested Sunday on suspicion of two counts of child abuse with substantial bodily harm after a 5-month-old girl was brought to Renown suffering from brain injuries sustained when she was shaken.
He is being held on $150,000 bail.
On the same evening, Russell Frietze, 23 was also arrested at Renown when a two-month-old victim was brought into the hospital with two skull fractures and a broken leg. He was arrested on suspicion of one count of child abuse with substantial bodily harm.
He is being held on $75,000 bail.
