Jennie Bell Philippi

Jennie Bell Philippi passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 31st, 2014 in Carson City, NV. Her oldest son, Lester, would join her later the same day. She was born in Ventura, CA to Henry and Alpha Cobb, November 11, 1930. In 1959 she married Donald E. Philippi. Together they raised 6 children; Lester, Sandy, Carrie, Donald, Roger, and Corrie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Gladys and Velma. She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, sister Marion, brother Henry Jr., remaining 5 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. When once asked by her daughter Carrie “Would you do anything differently?” She replied with a twinkle in her eye, “Never, honey, I was always right where I wanted to be.” She will be missed by all who knew her. The family will hold a “Celebration of Life” event at a later date.
