Cheers & Kudos: Thank you for helping FISH in time of need

During these past months of June through September, the food bank at FISH has experienced an extreme slowdown in the amount of food coming in for distribution to families in need.

Our major food drives are typically in May and October. Even though the amount of food coming in slows down, the demand for food to help the families in our community remains consistently high.

So the food bank at FISH would like to take this opportunity to thank the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also all the folks involved with the 5th Annual Interfaith Picnic, and Nick Bowler from the Boy Scouts of America Troop 16 who chose to do a food drive for FISH as his community project to earn his Eagle Scout designation.

It is the support from organizations and individuals like these that help us serve the needs of our community. For that reason, we wanted to take this opportunity to publicly say, thank you!

Jim Peckham

FISH executive director
