Using the movie title “Hunger Games” to symbolize an adventure theme, Churchill County High School slides into next week’s homecoming activities ready to conquer any foe.
Beginning Monday, each day will have activities for the students to show case their school spirit, while certain events also include the community.
Pouring the green dye into the city fountain Monday morning kicks off the week, followed later in the day with a parade at 5:30 pm traveling down Maine Street and the Powder Puff Football Game between the junior and senior girls. Every day is a themed dress-up day for the students culminating with extreme school spirit apparel on Friday.
The big football game between Fallon and Dayton kicks off the evening at 7 p.m., and this year’s homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime.
Saturday wraps up the week with a semi-formal evening dance.
