This is to express my gratitude to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for opening their doors on Sept. 11 for a silent prayer vigil. It was comforting to have such a beautiful place to pray. I also thank those people who availed themselves of the opportunity to pray and remember, it was comforting as well to see you take time out of your day to come.
As well, I want to express my deep appreciation to those people in town who are flying American flags from their vehicles. It makes my heart proud to see you driving down our streets. Thank you to everyone who still remembers; you are the reason I moved to Carson City. The American spirit thrives here.
