Carson City’s Silver Oak Golf Course donates to Wounded Warriors

Tina Luce, liaison for Wounded Warriors and tournament director for a recent golf tournament and dinner to raise funds accepts funds from Garth Richards, middle, of Silver Oak Golf Course and Executive Conference Center, and Terrie McNutt, Silver Oak general manager, on the right. The check actually represents more than $100,000 raised at events over time. The money benefits families of the 26 Nevadans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, Honor Flights and Wounded Warrior. Silver Oak owners are Garth and Sean Richards, and Mark Turner.
