Ellen Boyd of Carson City is served Thursday evening by Carson High junior culinary arts student Chase Purbaugh at the Silver Oak Golf Course and Events Center. Silver Oak hosted a fundraising dinner to help with the CHS culinary team’s trip to the National Championships to be held April 17-22 in Anaheim, Calif. CHS has won 11 straight state titles.
