Rotary clean up day in Carson City

Rotarians Alan Glover and Gary Aites clean up the garden area at Fremont Elementary School as part of ‘Rotary at Work Worldwide’ Saturday morning. The Rotary Club of Carson City and the Carson City Sunset Rotary Club participated. The major fundraiser, the Rotary Beer and Pizza Championships is next Saturday, April 25 in the Carson Mall. Craft beer brewers and microbreweries, 16 in all, will offer their top selections to attendees as they compete for several awards during the championships. Proceeds support local scholarships, charity organizations and other Rotary-vetted community needs. For more information call 315-0141.
