Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested for battery with a deadly weapon

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 2:28 a.m., Pedro Aguiar, 20, was arrested on suspicion of parole and probation violation and a 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing and resisting a police officer and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after deputies responded to a noise complaint in the 3400 block of Woodside Drive. No bail was set for Aguiar and bail for the woman was set at $800.

At 3:00 a.m., Christopher Thompson, 27, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony embezzlement and parole and probation hold. No bail was set.

At 8:08 a.m., Jerimiah Reyes, 21, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony use of false ID to avoid prosecution, violation of a suspended sentence, and violation of bail condition. Bail was set at $14,000.

At 9:22 p.m., Gerson Meza, 18, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon after deputies responded to reports of a stabbing. Bail was set at $30,000.

At 9:45 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking clothes and diapers at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
