Glenn W. Valenzuela, 92, passed March 13, 2015, at his home in Carson City, NV. Mr. Valenzuela was born July 2, 1922, in Oakland, CA, to Bernard and Letha (Hill) Valenzuela and raised by his mom and step-dad, Ed Olson. He graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland, California. He served in the US Army in Germany during World War II. He was a guard at the Nuremberg trials. He was a 51 year Mason. He retired after 30 years with Dole Canning Company as a shipping supervisor. He is survived by his daughters, Nita Yeager (Pat), Lynn Scott (Randy) and Robin Luke, (Robin), grandchildren Jennifer McComb (Bear), Krisina Worden, Fred Johnston (Theresa), Jeremy Martin (Jennifer), Ila Yeager (Jose), Debra Crouch, (Gary) , Amy Dickson (Andy), Chris Luke, 12 great grandchildren and nephews Max Valenzuela (Iris), Ron, Kim and Mark Valenzuela and niece Cherie Plant. Memorial service to be held Saturday, April 25th at the Elks Lodge 2177, 515 N. Nevada Street, Carson City, NV at 1:00 p.m.
