Amanda Sue Ratcliffe, age 34 of Reno Nevada died Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Stanford Medical Center. She was born January 18, 1981 in Fontana, California, she is the daughter of John and Jo Vanderdoes. Amanda is survived by her loving parents John and Jo, two Sisters Niki and Jessica, her 6 children, Angel,

Cheyenne, Jarrod, Jason, Tyger, and Justin, husband Thomas, many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Amanda was an amazing person. She had a heart of gold and always had a smile on her face. She became a foster parent and fostered many children making huge impacts in their lives. Five of her six children were adopted. Amanda loved her children more then anything and always made sure they were happy. She was the most patient, kind, understanding and loving person. She accomplished so much in her beautiful life. She wrote a children’s book and had it published. She was in the process of writing another one. She was almost finished with school to become a teacher. Amanda had so many amazing hobbies and loved singing, writing, reading, painting and drawing. She loved to spend time with family and friends. We lost the most amazing person we know but God gained the most amazing Angel. Amanda is now in Heaven rejoicing with our Lord and Savior and beautiful son Hayden. She will forever be in our hearts. Amanda’s Celebration of Life will be at Calvary Chapel 1635 Clearview Drive, Carson City, NV 89701, on August 7th at 11:00AM. We will be having a Potluck Style Fellowship. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
