Thomas Albert Brockman “Al” was born on Aug. 6, 1915 in Lathrop Ca. and passed away May 18, 2015. He was raised on a dairy farm getting up at 0400 to milk all the cows by hand . He volunteered to serve in the Marine Corp during WWII in 1944. Al was the last man to drive a 6 horse drawn Fresno scraper leveling land in the San Joaquin Valley. He retired from the Ca State Hwy division and moved to Wellington Nv with his wife Millie. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, grew a beautiful vegetable garden and almost always owned a horse. His biggest joy was his annual elk hunting trips to Co: his last at age 99. His hunting buddies will miss him. He is survived by his daughter Susan Hanna ,son in law Troy, four grandchildren: Elizabeth and Kathryn Hanna and Brandon and Josh McFarland. He also leaves behind two sisters Ettie Morgan, Gladys Merritt and brother in law Kenneth plus many other family members and friends that he loved dearly including Tom Stribling, the Cortez and Heath families, Penny and Gary Rials and Bob and Debi Keifer.
