The Carson City Chamber of Commerce is looking for its 27th Leadership Institute class, open to salespeople, business owners, entrepreneurs or anyone new to the city or those who have lived or worked here long term.
The nine-month-long class covers the ins and outs of what makes Carson City tick. It meets on the second Thursday of the month to meet city leaders and learn how decisions are made that affect everyday life in Carson City.
Applications, available at http://www.carsoncitychamber.com/index.php/the_chamber/leadership, are due by Aug. 27.
