The second County Commission meeting of August will be conducted today at 1:15 p.m. at the Churchill County Administration Building chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.

Consideration and possible action regarding update of current activities, plans or actions related to the Carson City District of the Bureau of Land Management.
Consideration and possible action regarding selection of a contractor to provide IT support services to Churchill County and approval to proceed with contract negotiations.
Consideration and possible action regarding application for Community Support Funding for Fallon Lions Club Junior Rodeo.
Consideration and possible action regarding New Millennium’s State Incentive Request in conjunction with a proposed expansion of facility in Fallon.
Consideration and possible action regarding presentation from JOIN regarding their Career Training Funding for Churchill County.
Consideration and possible action regarding letter received from Gov. Brian Sandoval concerning the consistency review of the Nevada and Northeastern California Greater Sage-Grouse Proposed Land Use Plan Amendment and Final Environmental Impact Statement.
Consideration and possible action regarding letter received from Rebecca Palmer, administrator, SHPO, regarding Nevada State Historic Preservation Office nomination of the Douglass Ranch, at 1075 Dodge Lane, for the National Register of Historic Places.
Consideration and possible action regarding request for Capital Improvement funds from the Churchill Animal Protection Society for fiscal year 2015-2016.
Consideration and possible action regarding request for funds from CAPS for fiscal year 2015-2016.
