The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
Carson City
FRIDAY
At 11:30 a.m., Ashley McKnight, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony embezzlement. No bail was set.
At 12:03 p.m., a 20-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of hit and run, eluding, obstructing, driving with a revoked license and no proof of insurance after deputies witnessed the man sideswipe another vehicle near Highway 50 and Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $2,800.
At 6:17 p.m., Ronald Bonds, 70, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon after deputies responded to reports of a subject with a knife. Bail was set at $20,000.
At 7:20 p.m., a 37-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-alcohol and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Saliman Road and Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $1,040.
SATURDAY
At 1:25 a.m., a 53-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies located a vehicle suspected to belong to the battery suspect. The woman had allegedly hit another woman repeatedly near the 900 block of Washington Street. At the same incident, Nancy Angell, 68, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies questioned her about the above battery that had occurred. Bail for the 53-year-old was set at $1,000 and bail for Angell was set at $6,600.
At 3:34 a.m., a 23-year-old Mound House man was arrested on suspicion of obstruction after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive. Bail was set at $300.
At 1:07 p.m., Monette Martin, 47, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI-fourth offense drugs and use of a chemical to induce euphoria after deputies responded to reports of a woman in her car sniffing a can of duster at the Fairview Drive Office Depot. Bail was set at $21,000.
At 6:44 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of damage to jail property after deputies witnessed a man pulling cables out of a wall at the Carson City Jail. Bail was set at $2,500.
At 7:15 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing a peace officer and littering after deputies responded to report of an unwanted subject at the Edmonds Drive Jackpot Casino. The man allegedly dropped a glass drug pipe when officers arrived and allegedly picked up a broken piece and turned toward officers. Deputies then kicked the glass out of his hand and took him to the ground where he was detained. Bail was set at $1,800.
At 7:31 p.m., a 54-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense after deputies responded to an incident at the Gold Dust West. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 9:45 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and child endangerment after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Saliman Road and Sonoma Street. Bail was set at $3,500.
SUNDAY
At 12:02 a.m., Jacob Madden, 24, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and speed 11-15 over after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Robinson and Carson streets. Madden was also rearrested at 8:36 p.m., for felony battery by a prisoner after he allegedly punched another inmate in the face. Total bail was set at $23,550.
At 10:27 a.m., a 54-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 200 block of Sarah Drive. Bail was set at $888.
At 11:41 a.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing after deputies responded to reports of a battery allegedly involving gang members near Tiger Drive. Bail was set at $300.
At 1:30 p.m., Gloria Thomas, 72, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and malicious destruction of property after deputies responded to reports of a woman purposely colliding her vehicle with a second vehicle. Bail was set at $20,500.
