Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Aug. 19. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive, scored 100 points.

Melvin’s Car Wash & Detail, 1510 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Starbucks, 2320 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Dotty’s, 3305 Market St., Suite 100, scored 99 points. Lids on garbage storage containers were open.

Gold Dust West, Ole Ole, bar, 2171 E. Highway 50, scored 99 points. The ice scoop was stored improperly, corrected on site.

Gold Dust West, Ole Ole, restaurant, 2171 E. Highway 50, scored 99 points. The chlorine content in the sanitizer bucket in the kitchen was more than 400 parts per million, corrected on site.

National’s Cafe, 1701 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. Food was not properly labeled and dated.

Siam Classic Thai Cuisine, 4250 Cochise St., follow-up inspection, scored 99 points. Lids were missing on garbage storage containers.

Keva Juice, 2320 S. Carson St., Suite 2, scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler on duty.

Z Bistro, 725 Basque Way, Suite 1, scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler on duty.

Jack in the Box, 3665 S. Carson St., scored 94 points. The sanitizer dispenser at the three-compartment sink was issuing a solution more than 400 parts per million. Utensil and storage containers over the preparation area were dirty. The rice scoop was stored improperly. There was a leak inside the cabinet under the customer soda dispenser.

Dunkin’ Donuts, 2190 E. William St., scored 92 points. A dial thermometer was missing in the walk-in refrigerator. Two hand wash sinks were missing disposable paper towels. Lids on garbage storage containers were open. There was no certified food handler on duty.

Pho Country, 2495 N. Carson St., scored 85 points. Flies were found in the kitchen. Food was not properly labeled and dated. Unwrapped egg rolls were stored in a reach-in freezer. Unwrapped meat was found in the walk-in refrigerator. Lids on garbage storage containers were open. Floors, walls and ceilings in the food preparation areas were dirty. A light cover was missing in the exhaust hood system. An exhaust hood baffle was missing, corrected on site. A certified food handler was not on duty.
