Cheers & Kudos: S.T.E.P. doing good work

I attended a fundraiser for S.T.E.P., Sierra Therapeutic Equestrian Program, a non profit organization, 33 Bellevue Drive, Washoe Valley. I’d never heard of S.T.E.P., and everyone should.

Organized by Connie and Terry in Washoe Valley, they donate the use of their land, horses and time to children of special needs, and veterans and their families. The fundraiser was a great success with the help of the Kiwanis, and the Rotary Club, which raised donations from the community — 100 percent of the money raised, which was over $3,800, was donated to S.T.E.P.

It was amazing to see everyone pitching in to help this wonderful program and having a great time doing it. Kudos to everyone who attended and contributed.
