Tahoe/Douglas Elks in Gardnerville naming Citizen of the Year Jan. 30

Tahoe/Douglas Elks is naming its Citizen of the Year on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Lodge, 1227 Kimmerling Road in Gardnerville.

The group’s annual all you can eat crab feed is planned on Feb. 13 at the same location. The social starts at 5 p.m. and dinner follows an hour later. The cost is $40 per person, a fee that must be paid in advance. Tickets, which include Dungeness crab, clam chowder, prawn shrimp, salad and garlic bread, will not be sold at the door.
