Nevada sports books won a total of $3.26 million from bets made on this year’s Superbowl.
Gaming Control Board Chairman A.J. Burnett said that is a 2.8 percent hold on $115.98 million in total bets made on the game.
The New England Patriots won the game 28-24.
Burnett emphasized those are the “unaudited figures” for the betting — essentially a quick snapshot of what happened Super Bowl Sunday.
That is not only less than the total bet in 2014 but a lot less than what sportsbooks won a year ago.
In 2014, a total of $119.4 million was bet and they won $19.67 million — 16.5 percent.
That year, however, was the highest win percentage reported by books in more than a decade.
