Mamo to play in Minden

The fourth concert in Carson Valley Arts Council’s concert series will feature music from Mamo, a duo of Hawaiian musicians, at 7 p.m. Friday at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 U.S. Highway 395 in Minden.

Nathan Aweau, vocalist, and Jeff Peterson, slack-key guitarist, are Mamo, which also features sounds from acoustic and electric bass, ukulele and percussion.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and $5 for students with identification. Doors open at 6 p.m.
