The first County Commission meeting of January will be conducted Monday at 8:15 a.m. at the Churchill County Administration Building chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.
Among the items commissioners will discuss and that are up for possible action include the following:
Consideration and possible action regarding an application for a zone change filed by JoAnn Davig Caras from E-1 to C-2, Heavy Commercial District, for property located at 500 Roberson Lane, Assessor’s Parcel Number 008-572-07, consisting of 1.03 acres in the E-1 land use district.
Consideration and possible action regarding updates and requests for support from the Churchill Economic Development Authority (CEDA): Update and report on CEDA’s activities since March 2014; Theatre CDBG grant application; Request for financial support of CEDA’s attendance at the Tulare Ag Show; Request for financial support for CEDA’s membership with the World Economic Development Alliance; and request for financial support of CEDA staff health insurance.
Consideration and possible action regarding State Revolving Loan Fund Priority List Pre-Application for the Dallas Lift Station and Wastewater Collection System Improvements.
Consideration and possible action regarding amendment No. 1 to contract between Public Agencies-State of Nevada, Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, and the Churchill County District Attorney, Child Support Division.
Consideration and possible action regarding final acceptance of Wild Goose Ranch bid and other matters related thereto.
Consideration and possible action regarding resolution 01-2015 establishing the travel expense allowances for Churchill County.
