A fire broke out in a York Lane house shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
A Churchill County Sheriff’s deputy was the first to arrive at the two-story home on 3650 York Lane and was able to evacuate the residents.
Two engines and a water tender from the Fallon/Churchill Fire Department were dispatched.
A second call to the residence occurred at 10 a.m. Firefighters returned because of a small fire that broke out near a wood stove.
