Marvin H. Dennis

Marvin H. Dennis, age 71, of Carson City, NV, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Agrace Hospice in Janesville. He has been serving as a pastor for 46 years, as well as an evangelist, teacher and school administrator. He served as the pastor of Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church here in Carson City from 1987-2012 where he retired after serving for 26 years. Pastor Dennis served each community he lived in faithfully in roles as a Police and Sheriff’s Chaplain, Hospital Chaplain, and the Nevada State Legislature Chaplain as well as serving on various boards. A “Celebration of Life” service for friends of Pastor Dennis in Nevada will be held at Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church, 1505 Railroad Drive in Carson City, on Saturday, January 24th at 1:00pm.
