The Fourth of July will have extra fireworks thanks to Mother Nature.

The National Weather Service in Reno is predicting a 40-60 percent of thunderstorms in Churchill County and central Nevada beginningl ater today and into the evening.

Weathermen predict an 80 percent chance with heavy rain. Today’s high is expected to be 93, the same for Sunday.

.MOIST AND WITH UNSTABLE CONDITIONS WILL ALLOW SHOWERS AND

THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP THIS MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE

EVENING HOURS. A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP AND PRODUCE

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL. THOSE HEADING OUTDOORS TODAY SHOULD HAVE A

PLAN TO QUICKLY RETURN TO A SHELTERED LOCATIONS IF A THUNDERSTORMS
