A regular meeting of the Churchill County School District Board will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Churchill County Administration Office, 690 S. Maine St. Items to be discussed and that are up for possible actions include the following:
For discussion and possible action: Selection of an appraiser to appraise the Plummer’s Building (50 E. Virginia St.), in preparation for sale of the building.
For discussion and possible action: Approval of a change order to A&K Earth Movers’ contract for the Churchill County High School auxiliary gymnasium site package to add payment of prevailing wages as required by the passage of AB172.
For discussion and possible action: Approval of district’s technology implementation plan.
For discussion and possible action: Regarding the potential of reinstating the dean of students position at the high school.
For discussion and possible action: The board will review the terms of the employment contract for Phyllys Dowd, director of Business Services; Dawn Whitten, director of Food Services; Steve Russell, director of Transportation; and Brian Byrd, director of Maintenance, and may take action to revise the terms of these contracts.
