It’s portrayed from the viewpoint of Lady Capulet via this mother’s look at her daughter’s classic love story, re-telling the story with a cost of 45 dancers.

Rosine Benna is the Artistic Director of Sierra Nevada Ballet and the featured dancers will include Ihosvany Rodriquez (Ballet San Jose Nacional de Cuba) as Romeo and Eric Chipp (Smuin Ballets SF) as Juliet.

The second of the summer’s free in-the-park concerts is coming up on Aug. 15 and will feature Mike Zito and The Wheel.

The fiery guitarist won a Blues Music Award for Song of the Year and was also nominated for Best Rock Blues album.

Along with his rocking quintet—guitars, vocals, sax, bass, piano and percussion—he conjures a white-hot chemistry and promises to deliver a tasty dose of classic electric blues, honed by years of playing on the road. For more information you can check out www.mikezito.com

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. and the Art Center’s galleries and bar will be open following the performance. This free in-the-park concert is sponsored by the Mayor, City Council and City of Fallon. For information on the concert, you can call Churchill Arts at the number above.

Plans are also in the works for the second annual Community-Wide Reunion in Oats Park the same day as the concert.

The event is for all years, all classes, students, teachers, family and friends. Items being planned include a Farmers Market on Maine Street, an open swim at the City Pool and a Show ‘n’ Shine car show at the fairgrounds.

There will also be several free tours during the day and a breakfast the following day at the Eagles Hall from 7:30-10:30 a.m.
