Area natives graduate from Washington State University

The following Nevadans recently graduated from Washington State University — Richard Smith Shroy of Carson City, Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice; Lena Poliahu Torvik of Fallon, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine; Lyle Scott Whitaker of Fallon, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine; and Jacqueline Christine Koster of Gardnerville, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Dayton’s Riley Beckwith makes Dean’s List

Riley Beckwith, a native of Dayton and English major, made the University of Dallas Dean’s List, which honored students who earned a 3.5 or better grade-point average.
