Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for July 17. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Carson Nugget, Cork & Bottle, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Carson Nugget, Garden Cafe, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Carson Nugget, Steak House, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Dairy Queen, 3198 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

Save Mart Supermarkets, bakery, 4348 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Save Mart Supermarkets, deli, 4348 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Save Mart Supermarket, grocery, 4348 S. Carson St., scored 99 points. The floors in both bathrooms were not smooth and easily cleanable.

Carson Nugget, main kitchen, 507 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. Biofilm was found in an ice machine. Wire racks were dirty in a walk-in refrigerator.

Carson Nugget, show bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. There were no disposable paper towels at the employee hand wash sink behind the bar.

China Jade Horse, 963 Topsy Lane, Suite 310, scored 97 points. A certified food handler was not on duty.

The Cracker Box, 402 E. William St., scored 95 points. Food items were not properly dated or labeled. Two sanitizer buckets were missing chlorine residual. The hand wash sink near the dishwasher was cracked. Waste food oil barrel lids were open. There were holes in some wall surfaces, and fiberglass reinforced paneling didn’t cover the wall surface.

Carson Nugget, Alatte Coffee & Wine Bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 92 points. A dishwasher was missing chlorine residual in the final rinse cycle, corrected on site. There were no disposable paper towels at the employee hand wash sink. Ceiling tiles above the bar were not smooth and easily cleanable, repeat violation.
