The Carson City Library will offer a free workshop at 3 p.m. today for anyone who wants to create an account to access the library’s free Zinio magazine subscription service.
Complete digital copies of popular magazine titles are available to download from the Carson City Library website, www.carsoncitylibrary.org. Zinio is the world’s largest online magazine subscription service.
The workshop will help patrons create accounts necessary to access Zinio through the library’s website. An active Carson City Library card is required for use of the service as well as a working email account.
To gain access to the magazines online, the digital content can be downloaded to a computer, tablet or mobile device using the Zinio Reader app. Some popular magazine titles include Newsweek, Popular Mechanics, Esquire, and National Geographic.
