One woman was seriously injured after a rollover accident Wednesday.
The accident occurred near Roop Street and Beverly Drive at 1 p.m., when two cars collided outside of the Senior Center. One car was coming out of the center’s parking lot when it hit a white Honda Civic traveling down Beverly. The Civic flipped at least two times, said Fire Chief Bob Schreihans.
The driver of the Civic was taken to Renown Medical Center with non-life threatening issues. The driver of the second car was unharmed and refused medical treatment.
Deputies believe speed was a factor in the crash and believe the woman was traveling at 40-50 mph down Beverly. The speed limit is 25 in that area.
Citations were given to both drivers for factors such as speed and failure to yield.
