For everyone who attended Bark in the Park we thank you. Our community is the best! We are so lucky to live in a town that cares about others. It is with sincere gratitude that CAPS thanks each and every one of the individuals and businesses who contributed to make Bark in the Park happen. It is humbling to realize all of the love and support that you pour out to our shelter. A big Four Paws Wave and a Wag to all of you!

WHO’S WHO AT CAPS?
Our community is Who’s Who this week. Please take time to read the lists of businesses and individuals who support, donate and volunteer to make Bark in the Park an awesome event.
WHO’S NEW AT THE CAPS ZOO?
This week’s pet personality is a sweet boy, Dozer, is a black pit bull with a heart of gold. This guy is a real gentleman and knows not to jump on anyone. He is like a big marshmallow sweetie. Dozer is a favorite at doggie day care. He craves a few kind words and is looking for a buddy he can count on. Dozer was left at CAPS after his owner was transferred to another area. Come out and take Dozer for a walk, and he will stroll his way into your heart. We also have 12 frisky kitties and three female puppies. They are too cute for words!
CAPS’ policy, however, prohibits adopting out puppies or kittens under the age of six months to a home with children under five years of age. This is to protect both the children and the animal.
CAPS NEWS AND EVENTS
CAPS will be at Walmart tomorrow with Ki and our Kissin’ Booth. Ki has a regular fan club, and he loves his fans. Don’t disappoint Ki, so come on by and join Ki’s fan club. We have new designs for our shirts, and caps, so please stop by and check them out before or after greeting Ki.

APS garage sale is coming soon. Are you cleaning your garage and want to get rid of stuff that is just taking up room? CAPS would love your gently used items for our annual garage sale. We don’t need clothing, but any appliances, furniture, dishware, skis or other white elephants are welcome. If you have items to donate contact CAPS at 775-423-7500
CAPS always needs pet food. We would love your donation of cat or dog food. Please feel free to bring the food to CAPS or send an email, and I will pick it up.
