Patrick Martin, 89, a Minden, Nevada resident for 37 years passed away at Carson Valley Medical Center on May 20, 2015. He was born February 16, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa to Clyde and Alma Martin. He married Vera Hopp on June 24, 1950 in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Before moving to Minden, Nevada he lived in Simi Valley, California where he worked for Simi Valley School District for 17 years as a maintenance scheduler. After moving to Minden, he worked for Bently Nevada Corporation as a facilities planner for 16 years. Patrick is survived by his wife Vera, son Daniel Martin of Longview, Washington, daughter DeAnna Azelton of Minden, Nevada. Two grandchildren Christel Passink, and Tawny Allred of Reno, Nevada. Five great grandchildren Taylor and Tyler Ashby, Dakota Allred, Haley and Sydney Passink. Services and Military Honors will be held at Eastside Memorial Park on Monday June 1, 2015 at 1pm.
