The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
MONDAY
At 5:48 a.m., a 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies responded to reports of a man sleeping in a vehicle at the intersection of Arrowhead Drive and Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,000.
At 10:30 a.m., Carlos Villasenor, 32, of Carson City was arrested on felony domestic battery with strangulation. Bail was set at $20,000.
At 6:54 p.m., Carson Cardinal, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing after deputies responded to reports of a possible drug deal occurring in the Market Street Walmart’s parking lot. Also at the incident, a 28-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, petit larceny, obstruction and violation of suspended sentence; a 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, petit larceny, obstruction and criminal contempt; and a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions and obstruction. Bail for Cardinal was set at $3,900, bail for the 28-year-old was set at $2,550, bail for the 27-year-old was set at $2,050 and bail for the 20-year-old was set at $3,300.
At 10:35 p.m., Peter Bowers, 48, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon after deputies responded to a residential burglary call at the 1500 block of Mountain Street. Bail was set at $20,000.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
