Tom S. Been

Tom entered into this life on May 18, 1936 to Marion and Justus Been, in Pickens, WV. He was raised in Pittsburg, PA along with his siblings Bertha May, Jon, and Howard. He was a twin brother of David, who passed shortly after birth. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as Petty Officer 3rd Class from 1959-1961. Tom married his one and only true love, Helen Collins, on Dec. 15th, 1960 in Palo Alto, CA.,who has been and will forever be his Best Friend and Loving Wife. In 1992, Tom and Helen retired and in 1994 moved to Carson City. Tom Been is survived by wife, Helen, and his brother, Howard, his daughters, Sharon Baumgartner and Jackie Waldner, grandchildren, Shelby and Justin Waldner. Tom will always be remembered as “Loving Husband, Dad, Poppie, and Dear Friend”.
