City National Bank named Sherri Blanchard senior client manager of its Reno banking office, at 5470 Kietzke Lane, and Audrey Slobe as client manager of its Minden banking office, at 1647 Highway 395.

Both Slobe and Blanchard worked for City National for the past decade. Previously Blanchard served as client manager of the bank’s Minden office, where Slobe was a senior client officer.

Blanchard began her banking career in Iowa in 1974 and moved to Carson City in 1984 to become a teller for Nevada National Bank. During her tenure with Nevada National, she also served as vice president and client manager before transferring to a branch at Incline Village. After 21 years with U.S. Bank and its predecessor, Blanchard left to become client manager of City National’s predecessor bank, Business Bank of Nevada, and its Minden office in 2005. Blanchard served as an ambassador for the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce and volunteered at C.C. Meneley Elementary School. In her new role, she will manage a staff of four and handle all operational and client servicing responsibilities. She will report to and work closely with Kim Bartlett, vice president and manager of the Reno branch.

Slobe is a 13-year veteran of the banking industry who began her career with Wells Fargo in 2002 and worked her entire career in Minden and Gardnerville. Slobe also volunteers with several philanthropic endeavors such as C.C. Meneley Elementary School and Kids & Horses. In her new role she will manage a staff of four and manage all operational and client servicing responsibilities. She will report to and work closely with Jeri Johnson, vice president and manager of City National’s Minden banking office.
