Five people were arrested by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Monday after a four-month investigation into the alleged selling of methamphetamine in the Silver Springs.
The Narcotics Division of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at 2905 Toiyabe St. in Silver Springs. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office stated the residence was being used to sell methamphetamine, and acted as a “flop house” for local drug users and dealers, a press release said.
Eight people were detained at the residence, three women and two men were arrested and one citation was issued.
Deputies recovered methamphetamine, marijuana and numerous items of narcotic paraphernalia.
The following people were arrested and booked into the Lyon County Jail with the following charges:
Betty Cramer, 58, of Silver Springs was charged with: Maintaining a residence for the use/sales of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales (methamphetamine). Bail has been set at $30,000.00
Kayla Kamrath, 23, of Silver Springs was charged with: Possession of a controlled substance for sales (methamphetamine). Bail has been set at $5,445.00.
Samantha Frey, 21, of Silver Springs was charged with: Warrant arrest (Failure to Comply), possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Bail has been set at $1,140.00.
David Christian, 54, of Silver Springs was charged with: Warrant arrest (Failure to appear for drug court review). Christian is being held on a no bail warrant.
Jason Grimes, 42, of Silver Springs was charged with: Possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Bail has been set at $1,140.00.
