Public input on a community strategic plan is wanted by Carson City’s Board of Supervisors.

Residents can go online or attend open house events at two locations on March 26 or March 30 if they want to provide views on the plan, according to a news release quoting Mayor Robert Crowell.

“The strategic plan guides the Board of Supervisors in making important decisions regarding our community,” said Crowell. “Its effective development depends upon the participation of all stakeholders, including public stakeholders. We encourage your participation.”

Citizens may do so by completing a brief online survey, as well as at the open houses. The survey is on the city’s website at www.carson.org. The open houses are from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 in the Fuji Park Exhibit Hall and on Monday, March 30 at the Community Center’s Sierra Room. Fuji Hall is at 601 Old Clear Creek Road and the community center is at 851 E. William St. More information is available from City Manager Nick Marano.
