I write this myself, on a bright sunny day in order to remove the burden of doing so from my family. You know ... time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems just yesterday while in High School in Alaska, I met and fell for my soul mate, Joe Adams. We married in 1956. In a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. It catches me by surprise... How did I get here so fast? I was born in Westwood, CA. Jan 1, 1939. What a life it has been with a beautiful family and friends. Two wonderful children, Gina and John and 2 fantastic grand sons, Aaron and Kevin. I worked at a number of interesting jobs and eventually retired from the State of NV. But, here it is, that new season. Many of my family & friends are retired and getting gray, or have passed on. And so... now I too have entered into this new season. And this I know, that when it’s over on this earth... it’s over. A new adventure is beginning. Yes, I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn’t done... things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I’m happy to have done. It’s all in a lifetime. So, if you still have time left, let me remind you that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to say or accomplish in your life, please do it quickly and with honor! Don’t put things off too long!! Life goes by quickly. You have no promise that you will see all of the seasons of your life on this earth, so live for today, but treat your body well so that it can serve you as it should. Say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember... and hope that they appreciate and love you for all the things that you have done for them in years past and can remember you with a smile!! “Life” is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to yourself, to those who preceded you and to those who come after. Make it a fantastic one. Celebration of life to be held on a date to be announced. See, I’m still taking care of you. LOL... Now go have a shot of FireBall Cinnamon Whiskey and talk about memories and the good old times. Love ya FOREVER AND MORE, ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL.....B--Barb--Mom--GramB--Sis--Auntie
