Wave swimmers sink Incline in big wins

Once again, the Fallon swim teams dominated the pool.

The Greenwave boys drilled Incline, 104-59, while the Lady Wave followed suit with a 117-71 victory on Friday in Incline.

Kyle Grimes paved the way for the boys with wins in the 50-yard freestyle (24.54 seconds) and 100 free (55.68).

He also anchored the 200 free relay team of Christian Nemeth, Nathan Narag and Isaac Kelsey, who took first with a time of 1:48.18.

Narag and Kelsey continued the success with a 1-2 finish in the 200 free, respectively, while Kelsey and Ryan followed Grimes in second and third, respectively, in the 100 free.

Katrina Ward kept the wins coming with a victory in the 100-yard buttferfly (1:15.51), while Amber Revels placed second (1:17.12).

The Lady Wave swept the 100 free as Kaelehn Nemeth won (1:08.38) followed by Sierra Bivens (1:11.09) and Danielle Brown (1:13.23).

Addyson Harmon added another win in the 100 back (1:14.12) as did Kendall Rogers (1:26.89) for the boys.

Brown took second in the 100 breaststroke (1:31.3), while Christian Nemeth won his heat (1:20.33) and Ware placed third (1:38.3).

Ward (2:24.72) and Bivens (2:49.01) took second and third, respectively, in the 200 free, while Narag (2:29.02) and Kelsey (2:48.2) also placed second and third, respectively, in the same event. Revels placed second in the 500 free (7:30.15).

The girls 200-yard medley relay of Addyson Harmon, Brown, Ward and Kaelehn Nemeth took second with a time of 2:26.69.

The boys 200 medley relay also placed second as Grimes, Narag, Christian Nemeth and Kelsey came in at 2:09.85

The 200 free relay of Bivens, Revels, Brown and Nemeth came in first with a mark of 2:08.15. Capping the wins was the Lady Wave’s 400 free relay team of Michelle Ward, Katrina Ward, Revels and Bivens, who came in at 5:08.49 in the 400 free relay.
