Vern D. (Andy) Anderson

Andy passed away at home in Fallon. He was born in Ephraim, Utah. He enlisted in the Navy in 1942 and served his country for 23 years. He then retired in 1965 as Chief. Andy married his surviving wife, Joy Ann in 1971. Andy worked at the Fallon Nugget, and then retired while working for the City of Fallon. Andy is survived by his two sisters, Sarah Hoover, CA and Helen Shepard, UT, four children, Ilo Scovill (Mike) of CO, Michael Ryle (Julie), Patrick Ryle (Connie) both of Fallon, Chris Snodgrass (Loyde) of Lovelock. Andy also leaves 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and two more great grandchildren expected in May. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements provided by the Gardens Funeral Home. Per his request, no services will be held. He will be truly missed.
