Education achievements: Carson City woman named to university’s dean’s list

Haley Patricia Stokes of Carson City was named to Seattle Pacific University’s dean’s list, which honors students who completed at least a dozen credits with a 3.5 or better grade-point average.

Area residents pass bar exam

The following area residents passed the February 2015 Nevada bar examination.

David A. Bailey of Carson City; Joseph A. Dragon of Gardnerville; Preston S. Mathews of Carson City; Carey E. Rosser of Fallon; Melissa H. Polsenberg of Carson City; Joshua M. Sorich of Gardnerville; and Alan R. Wechsler of Incline Village.

Some of the named individuals may have other requirements to satisfy before they can be admitted to the State Bar of Nevada.
