Alder Creek was the big winner at Wednesday’s annual TahNeva Championships at the Jim Frank Track & Field Complex at Carson High School.
Alder Creek won the boys seventh-grade title with 67 points, four better than Pau-Wa-Lu and 15 better than Carson Valley and Eagle Valley. Carson Middle finished seventh. Alder Creek won the seventh grade girls title with 105 points, 27.5 ahead of Carson Valley. Eagle Valley was third at 67 and Carson Middle was sixth with 37. Alder Creek scored 104 points to win the eighth-grade girls title. Carson Valley was third with 64, Pau-Wa-Lu was fourth with 60 and Eagle Valley was fifth with 55.5. Carson Valley won the eighth grade boys crown with 73 points, one ahead of Carson Middle and 29 ahead of Pau-Wa-Lu. Eagle Valley was sixth with 37.
