Marion Margaret Triffon

Marion Margaret Triffon, 90, passed away October 18, 2015 in Carson City, Nevada. Marion was the daughter of Francis Leo Glynn and Marion Elizabeth (McKenzie) Glynn. She was born August 3, 1925, Long Beach,

California. Marion was an avid bowler throughout her life, Orange County 600 Club (Orange County, Calif.) member, and Lifetime Member of WIBC. She bowled through her 89th year in the Sundae Trio at Gold Dust West. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Triffon and her parents. Marion is survived by her sister, Jean (Mervyn) Mexico, and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Feeney; daughters, Peggy (Richard) Sullivan, Kathy Hiltgen and son, Patrick; grandchildren John (Trish) Sullivan and Kelly (Bill) Reinhardt, Sean (Rita) Hiltgen, and Lexi (Luis) Romero; great-grandchildren Clayton, Timothy, Braden, Cody, Kennedy, Gabriel and Madison. She is also survived and missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. A celebration of life will be held at Walton’s Funeral Home, 1281 N. Roop Street, Carson City, Nevada, Tuesday, October 27 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Nevada Humane Society Carson City or www.JDRF.org in Marion’s name.
