Robert Steward, editor of Ron James’ book, “The Gold Rush Letters of E. Allen Grosh and Hosea B. Grosh,” is presenting the story of two Pennsylvania men who traveled out West and discovered the Comstock Lode at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 at Dayton Community Center.
The Comstock Foundation history lectures are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, except on Nov. 24 and Dec. 22, at locations in Dayton, Silver City, Gold Hill and Virginia City. The cost to attend is $7 per person, or $10 for two people. Light refreshments are served.
