The second half of a duo accused of burglarizing Carson Valley homes admitted his part in the nearly dozen break-ins.

Travis Lieberwirth, 37, admitted to burglary with a firearm Monday.

Lieberwirth was one of seven people arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in the Douglas, Carson City and Washoe county areas.

One of the first burglaries reported in Douglas County was at a Fuller Lane address where the victim’s Christmas presents were all unwrapped, and the home ransacked.

Lieberwirth was originally arrested for the burglaries in Carson City, where he’s currently awaiting his time in court on those charges.

In Douglas County, Lieberwirth’s multiple counts of burglary were combined into the single count with a firearm enhancement.

While breaking into a Lindsey Lane home on Jan. 26, he and codefendant Tracey Lock removed a 9-mm and .44-magnum handguns.

The pair also made off with more than $10,000 in jewelry and an unknown number of electronic devices.

Lieberwirth faces up to 15 years and a $10,000 fine at his Dec. 14 sentencing.

There were nearly a dozen victims, several of whom were expected to appear at the sentencing for both Lock and Lieberwirth.

With a burglary conviction from nearly 20 years ago on his record, Lieberwirth isn’t eligible for probation.

Lieberwirth has a long criminal record with parole hearings dating back to 2001.

His last parole hearing date was on Dec. 19, 2013, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

He served in prison with Lock, where according to Lock, the pair became friends.

Lieberwirth is awaiting a possible conviction out of Carson City.

Lock, 41, has already received 4-10 years in prison in Carson City for his role in as many as 30 burglaries that occurred in Douglas County, Washoe Valley and the capital.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 9 in Douglas County, where he faces 6-15 years in prison for his involvement in Valley burglaries.

The judge passing conviction last will determine if the sentences will run consecutive or concurrent to one another, for both Lock and Lieberwirth.

Douglas County homes on Kingsbury Grade, East Valley Road, Lindsay Lane and Fuller Avenue reported break-ins with similar elements.

Burglars would take jewelry, small electronics and other items that were easy to carry away from the scene using a pillowcase they removed from the house.

Both Lock and Lieberwirth also may face proceedings in Washoe County.
