Carson City limb and leaf pickup planned

The Carson City Public Works Operations Division is available to pick up garden and yard debris. Only vegetation — not household garbage, appliances, furniture, lumber and other items — will be accepted.

Leaves must be bagged; limbs must be less than six feet in length and no larger than 4-inches in diameter, then tied in bundles. Place items near the curb by 7:15 a.m. Nov. 30, when Public Works crews will begin pickups and continue through Dec. 3.

To add your name to the list of free pickups, call 775-887-2355 starting Monday. Requests will be taken through Thursday, Nov. 25.
